A fine, left-handed tonneau-shaped stainless steel self-winding chronograph, silver dial with two registers, tachometer scale and date at 6, circa 1978.

Breitling, Geneve, "Transocean", Ref. 2129, circa 1978. Tonneau shaped, waterproof, stainless steel gentleman's wristwatch with round button chronograph, registers, pulsometer, telemeter and date, with satined stainless steel integrated bracelet.

Case: Polished, satined, screwed back with integrated bracelet. Operating crown on the left and chronograph pushers on the right

Dial: Blue and silver with applied steel indexes, subsidiary dials for the seconds, and 30 minutes registers, outer tachometer and pulsometer graduation for 15 pulsations, aperture for the date. Luminous "Baton" hands.

Movement: Automatic, Cal. 15, brushed gilt, 17 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance, shock absorber, self compensating flat balance spring.

Measurements: 47mm by 42mm.

Condition: The original dial is in excellent condition but has lost its luminous plots, hands are original but show signs of humidity. Case is in overall excellent condition with light markings and no sign of polishing. The case retains its beautiful original brushed and glossy details. the bracelet show little sign of wear and no stretch. Timing is within /- 20 seconds per day.
