Romain Gauthier’s modern interpretation of a chain-and-fusee constant-force mechanism is showcased in the Logical One, his award-winning mechanical masterpiece. This invention includes a friction-minimizing chain made with ruby links and – in a world-first – an ergonomic pusher that’s used to wind the exquisitely finished movement. Only five pieces were made of this yellow-gold incarnation.
